I have been trying to remove my driver's door panel all weekend. After first doing some searching I found the post that I pasted below. However it wants me to remove a plastic plug behind the inside door handle. There is not plug on the drivers side, but there is one on the passengers side. I have everything else remove as instructed and the panel does seem to be stuck right where this screw is suppose to be. I tried to remove the panel that has all the power windows on it but that it doesn't seem to come out. I also tried to remove the gas lid switch / trunk lid switch in hopes that the screw was behind them. But I can't get them out either. On a side note, the reason I am doing this is because the window will not go up. That will be my next question, but I need to get the door panel off first so I can try and see what the problem is.
Here are the instructions I was trying to use from this forum. #1 is the one that doesn't exist.
1. Remove the plastic plug behind the the door handle. (See figure #1 item 4)
2. Remove window switch (See figure #2 for clip location)
3. Remove door lock cover (See figure #1 item 1 and figure #3 for clip location)
4. Remove 4 screws at the bottom of the door panel, 1 screw behind the door switch (step 2), and 1 screw under plug (step 1).
5. Gently pull the door panel all the clip are around the edge of the panel. Attached Images Figure #001.gif (10.8 KB, 36 views) Figure #002.gif (4.8 KB, 28 views) Figure #003.gif (5.0 KB, 27 views)
