I figured it out, after the car sat in the sun, the letters move quite a bit, pulled gently on one and can see that they will come off easily with more heat...

ya, also when you are done, use something to get the sticky stuff off. I used goo gone, then apply wax to the area and you're good to go.

i just used a pair of pliers to pull the lettering off and the adhesive is a b**** to remove. I was able to peel some off by hand but i used compound to remove the finer stuff, i also made sure to wax it up when i was done

i just bought my coupe 3 weeks ago and jus debadged it a couple days ago..my friend gave me a really great idea on how to do it without leaving any scratches or marks and it worked beautifully..i used dental foss..not the rope kind but one that resembles that white out tape..i jus pulled large strands of it and ran it across the letters..with a little work they will come right off..the glue tape that is left behind can be removed with your finger by jus rubbung it off..then get a car wash and your good to go..

nah its literally impossible that it messes up your warranty since i can't possibly see how it would effect anythingonly thing that could happen is it would lower resale value at dealershipbut in that case what imma do when it rade mines in in the future is just buy new emblemsit'll be good as new

I debadged mine the other day, the problem is you can still see where two letters used to be, you can see the difference in the paint. I tried everything, claying it, waxing it with scratch X and NXT. Nothings working and it makes my car look cheap, soooo pissed

You sure man because its because of the difference in sunlight im pretty sure so i didnt think there was a way of fixing. If washing and waxing everytime works then the clay should have, maybe meguiars colorx might work for this situation because it restores color.

Or i might just buy the badge at the dealer and put it backk on
