Tires are mainly rubber, rubber is mainly oil, and oil is mainly carbon which in large quantities isn't good for you. Then again I haven't heard of any NHRA drivers who died from tire smoke poisoning so I think you're ok.

Doesn't make any difference what brand it is...

It isn't healthy for you but won't kill you either if you smell some...

Try to stay away from it as much as possible. You'll be fine...

tire smoke is good for you.It means that the stupid ABS is off and that your braking distance become shorter.I just did that on V day.

I really doubt that a short term exposure to tire smoke is really going to cause any adverse effects. If anything we would have heard from some drifter or a drag racer by now. Lol I found out not to wear a whit shirt to a drift event though. My pops and I were sitting up in top row of stands at FD NJ and my white shirt was covered in little tire particles.

I haven't done a dry burnout since when it was warm. When there was snow on the floor, though...

I work in a pep boys distribution. I work right by where they keep all the tires. when I come home from work I smell like I have been sleeping on a bed of tires.

way to put that into perspective lol. On another note any 1 had that superstreet mag a while back when forza 2 had an ad that had the smell of a tire from a 350z at the trac?
