Cheap??? Not on a Maxima. The best HP gain for your car is a set of headers. However those are around $800. A good clutch will transfer more power to the wheels, but that's not cheap either.

Yea. Gen 6 Maximas are pretty quick enough as it is with 265HP to the crank... The car is already a VQ35 with 00VVI and VVT so those are all set in Gen 6s and late Gen 5s, but I mentioned that because Varible air intake was a bolt add on for Gen 4s because only Gen 5 and up had the 00VI intake. Where later Gen5s had VQ35s with VVT.

If you wanted faster car you should of put that loan and money into a G35 IMO... The 06s had like 20-ish more HP for the sedan and the car is nicer, and better looking imo. The coupe has 300HP.

but other than that, there are not very many bolt on HP mods for your car that are very cheap. And beancooker was right... An exhuast replacement would be pretty much the cheapest thing you can do on the max for a decent, yet small HP increase that can noticed in your car. Other things are much more.
