'04 G35. All my doors are unlocked. When I pull the hood latch in the cabin you can hear a clicking under the hood, kinda like the release cable is moving but not tripping the latch under the hood. Anybody know what might be happening and how to fix it?

Try pushing down & then pulling up on the hood while someone else is pulling on the release latch

It would be a shame if you had to use a sawzall

You may have to have someone pull the release and get in there with a long screwdriver and try to move the latch...if not, I'd let a dealer get into it!

THink I would take it to the dealer. I'm sure they know how to get in open quickly since they've more than likely dealt with this problem before. Or, call the service department for advice.

You have pinched cable that connects the lever and the latch, I had same issue a long while ago, check the cable is not pinched by the cover that goes over across (where the hood release cable is routed)... Easy fix. unless one of the latch is bad.
