hood latch for 76 pickup

would someone please direct me to someplace or person who would have this?New or used. The spring broke. I am really tired of putting a rope on my hood. Pickup is still hauling wood for me in IL. It;s getting rusty, but I tell my husband, when I give up on your pickup, I;m giving up on you. So we are still all together. :) Thanx, Lynn

Do you have a pic of what yours looks like by chance? I have one, but its for an '85... just curious if they are the same.
