i wouldnt spend the money on those ebay ones...

but i would buy an extra oem set and convert those and see how you like them in real life and up close.

No one is buying the ebay ones cause they look cheap in pics and then like you said the photoshop of them on a z. Fitment should be no issue they are the same as oem as far as that goes. I am just waiting to see someone actually buy them and post real pics of them up to get a an idea on what they look like, not that i need them as i have real jspecs but just curious.

i agree. i was gona buy them since they are cheaper but they dont look that good with that design. i wanted 2 see it on a REAL Z first so i know what im getting into. but i figured it wouldnt match my third brake light so im going with another replica.

im still confused on the excat material need for the conversion. people say they used lighting defusser for the material. nsrZ32 says no to that and he got his material from a "lens guy" .

so what am i do use. and where should i get the material? anyone that has done this please chime in

I'm pretty sure the ones on that website have the smaller crosshatch pattern and are closest look to stock. Most of the converted ones I've seen have the bigger bicycle reflecter looking ones, which looks terrible because it doesn't match the pattern of the red lenses. My .02
