Sounds good, but you can't hear the guitar for crap. I also noticed he doesn't attempt to play it live.

Check out the solo for Selkies: The Endless Obssession, by BTBAM

Dude is insanely accurate, and plays the same solo live.

I love Between the Buried and Me. They'll be on tour with Dream Theater this summer supposedly. My wife says listening to them or any other progressive type music is like a spoon in her eye. I could say the same for her top 40, but i gotta give her credit, last valentines day she got me tickets AND took me to see Dream Theater's anniversary tour.

Incedently, I mentioned this BTBAM and DT tour, she told me I'm on my own lol

Oh, so its turning into one of those threads. Some of my favorite sweepers:

Muhammed Suicmez: http://youtube.com/watch?v=60GizSziZQ0I really wish there were more videos of this guy on YouTube, he is an incredible sweeper. This solo has a few in there.

Paul Gilbert: http://youtube.com/watch?v=KSso37ce534In this video he sweeps with his teeth. 'Nuff said there.

Jeff Loomis:http://youtube.com/watch?v=b-ESkM2e21Ih ... pg-5Aq07Pg

Jason Becker:http://youtube.com/watch?v=87Iz3RHZNDQ

I realize it isnt the best, but I dare you to find me another popular post-hardcore band that has solos like that.

I would agree. I've seen a better video of him doing the Serrana sweeps, but I couldnt find it when I posted. Him and Marty Friedman were sick in Cacophony. It's too bad they didnt have more material together. I'm sure if Becker hadn't been diagnosed with ALS he would be a household name like Hendrix. I mean, he was 16 when they recorded Speed Metal Symphony which is just ridiculous. I'll be extremely happy if I can play that by time I'm 24. I'm almost 22.
