Im sure it will since the new motor is more just head work and intake. I think its the same short block as the other engines.

What is your grounds for thinking it is the best exhaust on the market for the Z? I don't know what kind of performance gains it gives, but I just listened to a bunch of sound clips/vids on youtube and it sounds horrible in my opinion. I much prefer the sound of the Topspeed N1 exhaust.

The 07/08 Z's are the same from the cats back as the previous years. 07/08 Z's have a different cat design, but the exhaust from there are the same. The HKS exhaust will fit. I just installed the Greddy TiC dual exhaust on my 07 HR and it fit like a glove. In my opinion the HKS sounds aggressive but a bit raspy. I decided on the Greddy because I like a deeper tone. I did notice I lost some torque but gained mid and high end in the RPM range. Bottom line, get what you like.

i recently became friends with a guy who owns an auto shop specifying in 350z and imports cars...but mainly Zs. He spent six months on his car and now has 650 hp and is running 10.1s. I mentioned a stillen exhaust and he told me not to waste my money. He said the best is the HKS Hi-Power exhaust so I took his advice. He has a dyno in his "shop" so i take his word for it. I personally do not know from experience, but I trust him completely. Hes not only an enthusiast but a professional

The HKS is an awesome exhaust. I get compliments on the look and sound of it all the time. But it is a kind kind of howling exhaust note, instead a deep aggressive one.

I love the sound of my HKS and the look. However, your choice of exhausts does not make that much difference power wise on an NA Z. The factory exhaust is pretty good power wise. The sound is the largest factor.

the way i drive everyone thinks it stick then they look inside and just got how. every one thinks cause its auto its slow then u just give her a lil and ur gone. also when female friends ask for a ride home.i make it clear i dont go slow and there ok with that they all say the noise scares the crap out of them and how it nails u to the seat. sock sound is real nice at 7,000-7,500rpm's

...The above post touches on every cool guy base that I would otherwise doubt about a person based on the car that they drive having an automatic. Reckless driving, "Female friends", and over-explanation.

An automatic car is now officially some sort of mark of honor for a sleeper, and plus it's now even easier easier to scare the **** out of poor, defenseless chicks and bystanders with your hard-coreness.

...Sorry, but that's just ultimate

I wanted to get the HKS mainly for looks. I wanted a loud, yet deep sounding exhaust and unfortunately the HKS didn't have that. I went with the Bassani TD Exhaust and couldn't be happier.
