today i was in front of my house talking with my brother while he smoked a cigarette and then i noticed a scratch on my NEW stillen front fascia. so i was like f***, i guess i hit it at the drive through of in n out (it wasnt a big one). then i walk over to the passenger side and that side of the bumper had scratches all over it... like that whole side of the bumper had scratches on it! i also notice theres little pieces of grass with the scratches and know that my dad cut the grass today.... last night i was looking at my car while talking with my friend (while he smoked a cigarette) and those scratches were not there....

i cleaned it and waxed it and the small scratches went away but some of the big ones are still there but you can only see them if you're up close and know they're there.... so its not too bad but its like WTF?!!! i only had the bumper for like 1 month and made sure not to scratch it and drive very cautious around curbs and everything... all of that effort and it still gets scratched

Hussian sorry to hear about your bumper dude. No matter how hard we try to protect our cars there are always others that don't give a SIHT and hit it for not being careful. I've seen it for myself while at Target, Mall, Market and many other places. I was once sitting in my 05 Frontier on the parking lot of a Jewelry Show. Lots of nice cars in the lot. 95% of them BMW's, Benz, Lexus and you get the point (High end cars.) I was waiting for my friend to get out of the show since I had already got my platinum necklace and cross I had gone to buy. I'm parked next to a S 600 Benz new and two ladies walk to the car. As the pass opens the door she hits the drivers side of the bed. She gets into the car as if nothing happend. I get off the truck and give her the F/U face. She looks at me and says " What. Nothing happend to your truck." I see that there's a dent and scratch there. I'm thinking no prob since I have a friend that owns a body shop he can fix it no problem. So I stand and think for about 10 seconds. They are both looking at me. I then say "OK that's fine ladies, Have a good day." I then open my drivers door hard and fast as HELL all the way hit her pass fender and made a HUGE F'EN dent/scratch. I hit the fender so hard that I see metal from the fender. I get in the truck and keep waiting for my friend. She gets off and starts yelling at me. She was saying that I was crazy, stupid and all kinds of other stuff. I look at her and say " Listen you two old BIATCHES if you didn't care when you opened the door and hit my truck then I sure as hell don't give a SIHT about hitting your car. Now we're even. So get the F**K outta here before your car gets more damage." They got in that car and burnt rubber outta the parking lot. Sorry for a long story, but you just have to show these idiots they can get it worst.

If you can catch your finger nail in the scratch then wet sand it in the direction of the scatch w/ 400 grit sand paper, wheel it out w/ rubbing compound, polish, wax. Should resolve your problem.

Last night I washed my car then my step dad mowed the grass and used the whipper snipper around the driveway... while the car was still wet.. Grass, bits of dirt, rocks and everything hit my car. I came out in a furious rage explaining "Do you have any respect for me and my car?" He just argued "Well maybe you should park it on the street". So what I did was went over and grabbed the dirty soapy mitt and a bucket of dirty water I used to wash the car and dumped it all over his Ford F150. Then I got in my car and drove away.

I came home and I guess my mother talked to him and he apologized. I did as well but now he gets the point.

lol funny thing is that i've noticed that every single time i wash my car, the next day my dad cuts the grass... this time, i washed my car 2 days ago. so i guess he was slacking by one day lol i told him to just wake me up in the morning so i can move my car across the street. i even offered to cut the grass but he makes up some excuse why the grass cant be cut that day and then the next day hes cutting the grass while im sleeping. it seems like he purposely picks the most inconvenient time to cut the grass... like in front of my brothers window while hes sleeping or the day after i wash my car lol

my brother is 32, going on 33 and he still lives at home... he moved out a couple times but came back. when you think about the pros and cons, itst just not worth it... work to have your own place but then if you go to school full time what good is it to have your own place? you'll be at school or work and the only thing you'll really do is sleep at home and its just not worth it. for the most part, me and my brothers would look at home as a place to sleep and every once in a while relax at.

Some people just don't give a s*** about cars and that becomes evident with how they look at them and how they drive them. My friend peter said that if he scratched my car and drew over it with black sharpie i wouldn't notice. i go to the gym with him, and when we left there was a black subaru forester WAGON next to my car and he walks over to the passenger side and goes to get in. it was at night, i'll give him that, but to some people they just don't notice. a clean car covered with some grass still looks clean. when most of our cars are dirty in our opinion, they are 10x cleaner than most peoples cars.

after cleaning it and waxing it a few times you can only see it if you look for it. idk if a camera would really show it because of the glossy paint in the car. ill try to later on. but after cleaning it up and everything, its almost gone. its more of the fact that he was careless and did it then the actual damage.
