i know the 2.0 isnt a performance car however i do want to know how fast i can run the quarter milewhat could be the highest octane fuel i can get in the engine without doing damage to itor on that same note if that would even be a good idea

Any car can be a performance car, some are just higher performance than others... A 2.0 CVT would probably be running the 1320 in mid to high 16's. Also, octane rating wont add horsepower. You could find some 115 or 120 octane racing fuel and it would not make a stock or mildy modified car any faster. High octane fuel is only required when you would want a lot of nitrous, high psi forced induction, or some pretty crazy ignition timing.

Yeah, higher octane would just be a waste.

Higher octane is usually needed where you start to get a pinging or a knock. Many high compression, or very low compression cars need a higher octane rating the prevent detonation, aka the combustion of fuel, without a spark plug, and without the compression of the cylinder.
