We have a group buy for HFC's set up. They are a revised cat from Kinetix Racing.

Cost is $300 + shipping. Let me know if you are interested.

Average gains are 6~8 HP. Cats are generally known as the biggest choke point in the exhaust. Now's the time to get these cats that pass almost ALL visual and sniffer tests. No cracking either.

high flow cats tend to yield very little hp, expecially for the cost involved, if a stocker goes bad and you live in an area that does testing the high flows can be a good option but the oldest 350z is only almost 7 years old, and I believe nissans get an 8 year 80k mile warranty on cats

the gains are much better when associated with a aftermarket exhaust

this is one of the best exhaust mods you can do for the VQ

Cobb Tuning found this to be the best bang for buck mod, especially when tuning the A/F ratios

tuning combined with anything will improve results, a couple more degrees of ignition advince can yield 8-10 whp on some cars, cost is zero

sorry not trying to talk you out of anything, but all the bolt ons in the worls combined on the VG only get 30-40 whp max, if thats not enough, forced induction tends to be the best bang for the buck, read through the stickies

oh, i understand that FI is the cheapest $$/HP upgrade you can do. This is for people that are going to stay NA and want to gain some HP

Nitrou requires refills, and it's easy to get freedy, I should know I've blown an engine with nitrous

for someone who just wants a little extra from time to time it is an option, and a real bargain, just follow the instructions and don't get greedy!

This is all understood. Better exhaust flow INCREASES ALL types of mods. This being the common choke point in the exhaust flow is a good reason to upgrade. Lots of FI swap to test pipes obviously.
