Hi i need to ask u guys somethings about this engine u guys have done this swap and of course u know this engine really good this is my first swap and i dont have that much info about this thing i'm having a problem i'm missing a part ,i only need that and the car will be done !! for good ! i need the dropping resistor -well that's the name on the wiring diagram of the engine, its like a relay that goes connected to some plug in the wiring & harness it regulates the electricity to the fuel injectors so they will get certain amount of volts instead of the whole 12 volts, do u know someone that has that?? (that wants to sell it or just cooperate with a ca18det lover like me) or what can i do?? where can i get it from? or do u guys know other nissan model that has that and i can use it?? please guys help me out with this one thanks so much my mail is [email protected]

You can find one off a ca16de 1987 Nissan pulsar only. any other Pulsar year and model won't have one.

I also heard you can use a dsm one but you need to change the plug on it. I personally haven't used a dsm one yet.

You can find it on a 1987 pulsar on the top middle side of the fire wall, it contains 4 resistors that are incased in an aluminum rectangular case with the name "JECS" ingraved in the middle of it.

BTW it is not a relay, it reduces the flow of current to the injectors.
