New here. I've got a '77 Datsun 620 that I bought from the original owner's wife after he died...
It had 73K orginal miles when I got it. I drove it for about two years when the original heater hose burst and I was unable to get off the road before the head gasket blew! I let it sit for a month or so before getting to fixing it, but by then the water that had gotten into #4 cylinder had begun to rust the walls. Other than that though the motor looked great! I got into the "while I'm at it" mode and have now got a little bit of a sleeper...

BTW these are somewhat old pics...the engine bay is a little cleaner now! It was still unfinished at the time of the pics and I guess it probably always will be...
