Hi guys, I have a question , my Nissan is a Sentra 004 1.8s automatic, everything was ok until last year when appear like a problem, After i drive , i let the car for at least 1 or 2 hours , when i try to start it, it doesn't start from the first time, it starts from the second turn of the key or i have to hold the key on, at first turn for 7 - 10 second to start it. Also in the morning it starts from the very first time. Now my thoughts are this is happening because of the weather in Las Vegas , with high temperatures and dry air. So if you guys have answer on this , I really appreciate it. My mechanic could't figuer out what is wrong.Thank you , Costi

Sounds like the same issue they are having on the QR equipped sentras as well. There is a fuel pump kit that can be performed on the car to eliminate this problem. Contact the dealer, no cost to you.

Good call, the fuel pumps on 1.8s are known problems in addition to 2.5s.

Call the dealer and see if your car is in the effected VIN range.
