Hi-Beam bulb recommendations

hey fellow coupe owners! looking to change that ugly yellow/orange hi-beam to something white or slightly blueish. anyone have any recommendations as to what to get?

An HID Kit with 6000K or 8000K. The higher you go the more purple it gets. Most go with 6000K which is what I have and it's pretty much pure white.

yea i thought about that then someone reminded me it takes a bit for them to light up so there would be no point. a friend of mine suggested the sylvania silverstar but unfortunately they dont make the h9 for those

I went to these from Hella. Clean bright white matches my lows & fogs.

is it possible to get some pics of the lights? also im reading that shipping is gonna take 1-2 months? how long did it take for you to get yours?

i was about to do the same and go for a brighter high bulb but whoa it sux to have to install another HID kit for my highs... i just did my lows 6000k and was going to work on fogs... now the highs too?!.... my car is gonna melt and the cops r gonna love me!! DDM tuning has lifetime warranty btw!

lol yea cant wait to deal with cops. i would look at ddm but dont they only do hid? im kinda looking for a direct replacement bulb since i want them to light right up...not wait like 5 secs. plus i dont think turning on high beams with hid's then turning them off right away would be the smartest thing

yea they fire up in a few seconds doesnt take long and it looks cool as hell. like an animal awakening! but yea id like to find a bulb i can put in instead of installing another HID kit myself.. u find anything?

check the link i posted. I have the 6000K kit from ddm tuning as well. and i ordered those bulbs from ebay. the color matches pretty well. ill try to get a pic. too lazy to go out right now...

im thinking these h9 from ddm would work since they use the same watts as the stock high beams.

ive got the 6000k kit and its not as bright of course, but when you look at it, the color looks the same to me

it is hard to tell since there seems to be some red glow in the last pic but it does look pretty much the same from the aerial shot
