Hey everybody!! I'm new to this forum. I bought a 95 J30t around 2000 and after a year or so I sold it to my parents cause I got screwed on a job and couldn't afford the payments anymore. About 6 months ago my dad kept talking about getting a Hyundai and I kept bitching that he shouldn't get rid of the J. One day about 2 weeks ago they went out to look at their new car and they said I could have the J. I also have an 89 Jeep Wrangler and a 2002 Chevy S10 Xtreme neither are stock. I know very well there are little after market mods for these cars. I would like to make it handle a little better but I have been through all 20 pages of this thread and it doesn't look likely.

gr8scott72, I applaud you for your extensive knowledge of these cars and I think it's a shame you got rid of yours. I do want make a similar exhaust setup to what you had cause that video clip sounded really good.

Thanks!

One of the best ways to make it handle good is to use the t 15" wheels. I don't know if yours is a t or not but the t wheels are forged BBS wheels and only weigh like 14 lbs each. Pair those with your choice of aggressive tires and as long as your suspension isn't worn out, that's about as good as it gets without going custom.

I do need front shocks but I they will come soon enough. I would love to get some wheels that would allow for some wider tires. I understand the car will never be a great performer but I want it to look good. I want to have some 17 or 18" wheels but I want to have some kind of deep dish.

I see everyone putting on different wheels like 350Z or G35 wheels. I want to have some 17 or 18" wheels with the widest tires without looking stupid I don't like the look of wheels with very little offset.

I will get some pics of it sooner or later. It is your basic silver J30t. The wheels haven't been cleaned in about 10 years so they look nasty.
