perfect.

i bang out the tranny filter while i have the car up.

is it ok to use dexron, or should i use nissan fluid?

i gotta see if anyone has a pdf service manual.

We use dexron in the shop for just about everything except certain applications.

Nice work I like but change this one line in it since the write up generally addresses both axles insted of just the left.

" then rotate your steering wheel to the left."

I have got it wrong any how.

you get more play when you turn it to the right for the left axle and to left for the right axle. since it pushes the tie rod out further away from the car.

So change it to say something to cover both axle's other wise it looks good. nice job. If I had time at work I would do pictures to go along with it. If by some miracle that ever happens can you later add them?

take note of my last post it corrects the direction you turn your wheel important for ease.

i got it. ive done it plenty of times [remove axles], ive just never taken the joint apart.

it'll give me a chance to use the band crimpers ive had for years and never used.

everything nissan [sponsor] has some good prices. im gonna order the parts from them, and take care of the car on the weekend.
