so you'd prefer a Corolla or a Sentra to a civic in that bracket?

I'd probably opt for a Mazda 3...but the Civic is a very capable and competent car for it's purpose.

they don't do too bad when set up for sporting purposes either.

I'm not too sure about the front suspension on a Neon, but if it's anything like a PT Cruiser, which I think it's identical, it's absolute garbage. Chrysler needs to be d!ck punched for designing it like that. ****in' joke.

Honestly, the only Honda in the lineup that doesn't fit it's class as good or better than the competition is the Ridgeline.

which is pretty useless for anything.

Well since you have all the good and bad in this thread I will put in my 2 cents.

Neon SRT-4's have the possibility to be fast.... however

The neon is an ugly car (IMO) and It comes with $hitty plastic interior. (fact)

Just because a car is fast doesn't mean it's a good car or a nice car.

Congrats on getting into the 11's that's gotta be one hell of a ride.

My buddy's turboed single cam non vtec hatchback schooled a CBR F4.

And IMO, Neons are like Eclipses, Tiburons and Cougars....shouldn't be driven by anyone but a chick.

im new to this but im goin to put my two cents in.

Hondas are good cars, but anyone who puts race crap on one is a ricer and deserves to get shot. And an srt-4 is a completly different breed of neon. And they r not to be taken lightly. nice car man.

Buddy of mine has one, and HIS other friend who has an identical red one was able to mange 330 whp while all in all spending no more than 1k. Its a nice car, interior etc.

speed3's are amazing. a guy on one of the forums i visit, was able to pull low 12's with $600 worth of mods. stock form it runs mid to high 14's

back to the neon however.... yes its fast... yes looking at the numbers its ok... but there are 2 major things that bug me.... its a neon so it looks like sh*t... and theres a wing on a fwd car

my budy has an srt4 an runs about 14-16 psi it wasimpressive until i was riding wit hhim and he ran my budies gsr swapped civic 1989 si. and the civic pulled along just as hard as the srt4. and when i ran next to it i was just paly wit hhim as i played with my throttle
