I've installed a ZEX kit on my 91 240sx coupe. I have the ka24 engine still.

The only thing that isn't hooked up is the TPS wire. Does anyone know which wire I need to splice into??

do I slice in between the TB and the harness or after the harness?

thanks so much I can't wait to try this out :)I ran it before on my integra and I like it.

splice between the throttle body and the harness.but use a FSM to be sure you get th wire you want.

I haven't done Zex yet, but I have done lots of others, and would be glad to help you with anything I can.

OH, I have. There should be 3 wires comming out of your sensor right? I think it's the Green wire. Try it out, if not, try the red one, but i doubt the red would be it, who knows. I did this about a few months ago before my civic got stolen. The Zex Module doesn't activate WOT if you have it spliced wrong anyways. If you want to know you got the right wire spliced, turn on your key, turn on the arm switch, and floor your gas pedal, you should hear the module click. Let me know if that helps.

jsut splice it, if it doesn't work, then switch it to the green wire. Use the splicer. If you were told that it's red, then it's red. You can call Zex up and ask to make sure that way, so you don't have to buy a FSM.

ZEX was no help they don't know which wireNISSAN told me the white wire (there is red/white/black)they also said they no longer make the FSM!!!! for a 91 240sx! ack!

well I tested the voltage of the white wire and it went from .4 V to .6 V at WOT. Which is no help...

do I did what I ended up doing on my integra. mounted a switch under the gas pedal and wire it to the 5 V constant power source. So whenever the pedal goes to the floor it triggers the nitrous. I hope it works out I will take it for a test drive tonite.

I'm more worries about the vacuum lines. I took the vacuum line off the FPR and ran it to the "regulator" port. Then I ran the other line that used to go to the FPR to the "intake" port (intake manifold) I hope everything works out and I don't run lean

cheers

Uh, you should read the manual that came with it for the vacuum lines. The vacuum line goes into you module, and another line coming OUT of your module which goes into where the first vacuum line supposed to connect to without the Zex. Splice it in the white wire, use the splice connector thing. Then Set up the Zex module that you would normally, if it works, you should know it. I explained it above if it does work. I dont' think it's the red wire though. Because the voltage has to be increased. Try the white wire, i'm 99% sure. Because I tried the red wire on my old civic and it's not the one. I had Red/green/black. And black of course is ground.

thanks for your advice. I tried it out tonite and it works great

The white wire did not read enough voltage unfortunately.

it went from .4 V at idle to .6 V at WOT. I simply ran a switch to the red wire so that when the pedal is to the floor it will read 5 V and trigger the zex. This is the same way I ran it on my integra before cus I ran into the same problem.

maybe I wasn't clear what I did for vacuum lines its hard to type it out here :)

"intake" - line that used to go to the FPR but now goes to zex box"regulator" - line from zex box to FPR

sweet. That should do the trick. I had the same problem too with my old civic. Spliced the wrong wire. Are you running Zex on a KA?

sweet. I have a zex system too, but with a missing nozzle and some jets. Tell me how you'll run with that set up.
