Help with dash pocket

Help with dash pocket
Well, i finally broke down and bought the dash pocket from nissan, 30 bucks later the damn thing does not fit. The radio and the dash pocket seem to be mounted too far forward and leave no room for the shifter/ac/radio bezel to clip in its proper place. Could this be a problem with my brackets? If so, are there different brackets for the 89-90 as there are for the 91-94. It could also be the pocket because I think i told them i had a 91 when i ordered it, I actually have a 90 (bonehead mistake, or wishfull thinking, you pick). Any help will be appreciated because ive spent about 50 bucks so far just to fill the darn hole in my dash, im so close to just buying a double din cd player.

s0ldats: Just go to best Buy and talk to the guys in the back.....the ones actually doing the installations. (the ones up front are usually idiots) They'll know what you need for the car you have. I think it referred to as the universal pocket for imports. It looks pretty decent. I don't have the mounting face for the radio that was put in (before I bought the car) so I have a small gap and had to get creative. But it works and doesn't look bad.
