Hello. I read through the will these wheels fit/rub post but think that's for the coupe only... I am picking up a 2010 Sedan 2.5 model and had a few questions

Will 18x7.5 wheels fit on there nicely without having to change any springs/shocks? Do I use different size wheels for front and rear or all the same?

If those work what would be the best size tire?

These are what I been looking at:http://www.wheelfire.com/scont...5%20S

Thanks for your time... and please understand I read these forums but its all greek to me basically all I see is:

E=MC2+Oxygen*Water=Tire Size

1) 18x7.5 will fit, deciding factor is the offset. At that width my guess is that anything >+30 will fit without poking or rubbing. You will not need to do anything to your springs or shocks.

2) Get the same size wheels all around.

3) Get the tire size that will result in the same overall diameter as your current stock wheels. I don't know what's stock size for sedans so you will have to do that on your own. An online tire website like Tire Rack will choose the correct size for you if you still can't figure it out.

On a side note, Nankangs aren't the worst tire but they also aren't a great tire either. Since you live in NY which gets a variety of different weather conditions, I'd want to go with a set of high performance all-season tires. EDit: nevermind, I just noticed that it's just the package that site is offering and not necessarily the tires you are planning to get.

1 More question... Do you think going from stock 16" to 18" will make the vehicle look noticeably higher? Is it gonna look doofy?

Anyone have a photo of their ride on 18" without it lowered? Thanks again.

If you get the proper tire size, you will not achieve any lowering or raising of the vehicle at all. That is the reality of it. However, because you have less tire and more metal, your perception of the vehicle height might change. 18's aren't huge so it should look fine. There are a lot of picture threads for you to reference, such as:1) http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread/3584472) http://forums.altimas.org/zero...think3) http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread/295986

Oswego!!! I was born up there! Haha welcome to the forums! Sorry to threadjack.

Tirerack is a good website - they'll point you in the right direction for sure.

the tire/wheel thread applies to the sedans as well. i'm quite sure that the sedans and coupes are pretty much the same when it comes to wheel sizes, so if it fits on the coupe it'll fit on the sedan.

your springs and shocks won't need to be changed, but your shocks will be under some more pressure because you'll be on thinner tires, but not enough to do any noticable damage.

your ride won't be higher from going from 16 to 18's. the center of the rim will be at the same height as long as you get the right sized tires, but it might look higher, don't ask me how that works
