Help! Throw out bearing!!!

Ok so i got a stage 1 racing clutch off ebay of course... cuz mine went out, well i am down to putting it on... the throw out bearing that I got with the kit is bigger! and the stock one has some black part on it .. im so confused. also is the clutch supposed to slide all the way down the splines on the transmission? or just to the beginning of them becuz mine isnt sliding all the way down... here are pics of the throw out bearing, any help please! the one on the top is new and bottom is old one, stock one w/e...

using an old throwout bearing is a bad idea, make sure the kit is correct for your car.

oh, well do the pics look like a 240 bearing

your clutch disk should mate fine with the trans splines, if it dosent then putting your trans back in is going to be a real pain in the....
you shouldnt re use the old bearing. the bearings should look the same, as they should perform the same function.
