I have a question concerning my Infiniti. I own a 2007 G35x it has about 40,000 miles on it and I’m am noticing that whenever it is damp or wet outside my car seems to be nudging forward or slipping when I reverse or pull forward into a parking spot. Also my VDC indicator and Slip Indicator illuminates on the dash and tends to stays illuminated. So my question is; what can be causing this? I’m thinking it maybe some kind of sensor problem but not sure which sensor. I’ve took it to my mechanic and he pulled the code and it comes up something about the brake fluid being low. So he checked that out and the brake fluid is fine. I’m puzzled because I only seem to experience this problem like I said when its damp or wet outside. Have you heard of this happen in G35’s? Any feedback you have will greatly be appreciated.

It sounds like you might need a trip to the dealer. There have been several updates in computer software that should resolve that. It also sounds like maybe you might be due for some brakes. If the pads are worn they might slip a little when the brakes are only partially applied causing a lurch. If it is damp and rainy you probably have your lights, wipers, and AC running this will cause the default idle and engine load to be about as high as it can possibly be, add that to slightly less friction from worn pads and you could very well lurch a little bit. That is if it is not engine control related I can't really tell from your description.

Good Luck.
