HELP PLEASE !!!

I have a 1995 240sx and the other day i recieved 4 trouble codes last week relating to an o2 sensor and the p1400 infamous code relating to the egrc. I replaced the o2 sensor and the only thing left is the p1400 error. Some say it's the solenoid valve indefinitely. Today i was searching top to bottom and around the engine with my flashlight and found a tube coming foward out from the firewall directly behind the block and rear potion of the valve cover. I've attached pics below. the first is the tube itself and the second is the general area of where it's located.
