Hello I have a fully built KA24DE and I did an auto to manual swap and did not hook up any of the tranny sensors the car seems to have less power and rev limiter at 5000RPM and its like a fuel cut. The CEL is on and reading codes for knock sensor and VSS, would that stop it from reving over 5000RPM?

P.S: I also turned up the fuel pressure as well because the plugs looked like they were running lean and it just ended up running to rich. If i slowly press the gas it will pass 5000RPM, also sounds like a spark pinging at that rpm?

I would highly suggest you hook up your VSS and also replace Knock sensor if its throwing the codes. Either of them can mess with the ECU from what I have read.
