Help needed! my car wont start!

Hi People! First of all, I would like to congrats everybody 4 this beautiful forum.I´m a new member from south America, Argentina.

I have a trouble in my 200sx, and In my country is very difficult to find someone that knows something about this machine.

My car is a 93 200sx, withe the CA18DET engine, with 2,5 exhaust, remmaped ECU, bigger injectors, and apex safc2.

It was running ok, very good and fast since I swapped the stock injectors (broken) for the Eclipse turbo ones (450cc).I bought an Apex SAFC2 to control them.

I went to the Dyno, I have the apex tuned by a pro, and I runned 165,2WHP, that I think that was OK.

Here comes the trouble....1 month later, I went 2 my garage, tried to turn on the car, and it turned on for 5 seconds, I drove 3 meters, and it turned off. I tried to turn on again, and it was impossible.

I took my car 2 the mechanic, and we changed the spark plugs just because we saw that they where flooded, and nothing happened.

The engine is ok, has compression, and the timing belt is ok too.

the next step, was to try to turn on the car without the injectors. I was successful, until it runned out of fuel.

I really don´t know what else 2 do, and here in my country, the mechanics doesn't know too much about this car.

Does the engine turn over, but it won't catch and run?

from what I get from your info, that you are getting spark since the car started when you feed it fuel in another method than the injectors.

Here are couple things you want to check.disconnect the safcII and connect the maf wire the way it was and give it a try.

I believe you are flooding the engine with the bigger injectors.

Also, some tuned ecus will still have the self diagnostics feature, see if your ecu is giving any codes.

Double check to see if you are getting spark on all 4 cylinders and I would definitely double check the timing belt to make sure that it didn't skip few teeth.

It almost sounds like your CAS died or came unplugged. I would check that. The only thing that doesnt make sense to me is how you started it without injectors and it ran.

either way do as Pulsar GTR said and check for codes from the ecu and see if a CAS code comes up.

If the CAS came unplugged, he wouldn't have a spark to start the car.Most likely he had some quick start sprayed into the intake which started the car.
