humm strange.. on my car everything is fitting right with my KA mount.

you can try to take out a litlle bit the part of the driveshaft that goes into the transmission. You can gain maybe 1 this way

Well taking off some would make it even shorter

Spacers would have to be PERFECTLY balanced, a little bit off at 80MPH would be VERY bad Ask some F-body guys, caus it seems they get out-of-balance driveshafts all the time.

My vote - have someone make a custom shaft for you. Easiest? yes. Best answer? yes. Cheapest? no. Although custom steel ones aren't too bad. If you've got good places nearby, an AL one isn't too bad either - a friend of mine has a custom AL one in his 510 he had made for ~$225.

go to a junkyard and get one for like $25 bucks or something...My drive shaft started life as a stock 89 sohc one, and it worked with my dohc KA, my CA, and now it still works with my s14 ABS vlsd pumpkin...

i mean its a soch drive shaft i dunno whats going on with it. its driving me crazy. any other options

i don't think this will matter but the engine mount bolt on top are not tight and the front of the car is jacked up i don't think it would make a difference but thought i would state it

um.. yeah tighten them down. see if that helps. If its still too long you could swap your rear diff to one with ABS... does it not even reach? I mean the stock one has a decent bit of slack in it.
