help my 350z cylinder #1 ignition coil keeps blowin up.

hey guys i need help.

i have an 04 350z and just a few days ago it blew an ignition coil. at first i thought i was just and old coil so i replaced it.

i bought a new coil and put it in and once it hit 200 miles it blew again so i replaced it again and 40 miles later it blew again.. what can be the problem?

has anyone experienced this problem. if so please help me..

odd problem, the coils get their signal form the PTu so you might try replacing it?

is the ptu an expencive piece?

where is the ptu located on the 350z so i cant check it when i get home.

lol, forgot wat section I was in, I don't think there is a PTU on the Z33, I'd try rotating a differnt COP to numner 1 and replace whichever one you removed, and also check the ECU for codes

done any mods to your car?

ok ill try to look for it. yeah i had a stillen supercharger and upgraded ecu other than that i put everything back to stock due to gas.

who did the ECU? I'd be suspicious of the ECU, maybe find a stock ECU when you replace it as well
