HI its the Bull again, requesting help on meshing out the bumper. i've tried doing the home depot mesh and pop out the fog lights and run some mesh over that and the bumper grill but no luck, is that an easier way?!?

Forgive me, but I don't understand what you're trying to do. Is it this?

The center grill on the bumper should be fairly easy. Cut the mesh oversized by at least 4 inches on all four sides. Notch the corners and bend the sides up to create a rectangle the right size to cover the grille area. Then line it up and mark where to notch the mesh to fit over the existing cross pieces. Then keep notching and fitting until the mesh slides flush with the grille. Finally secure in place. I would use sheet metal screws and large fender washers screwed into the bumper from behind the grille, but double-stick tape or rivets might work as well.

Anyway, this will be a project, take your time, line it up - mark - trim a little, then repeat as needed. Patience should allow for good results.

As for mesh over the fog light spaces, this may be harder. You may be able to remove them like blind_snyper did, then cut a piece of mesh to match the overall size and fit it in the hole.

I've never done this to my car, but it may come out pretty cool. Take your time, trim a little at a time and you should come out fine. Good luck! And post pics when you're done.

You also might want to consider purchasing a bumper from a damaged (rear end of course) Versa for this project - that way you can keep the stock on until you have completed the new mesh one.
