I will be ordering my Rogue this weekend...YEAH!!!! But now I have to decide which color I want. I was leaning towards the Wicked Black but I am loving the Gotham Gray also.

So I need some help in deciding which to get

Black ( with black/red seat) or Gray ( with gray pinstripe looking seat)

I've yet to see a Black rogue.. even in pictures.. so I can't say much about that color yet.

The gray on the other hand.. I've seen it, and I really like it.

Here's my best advice for you. It depends on how you take care of your car. I think most people agree that Black is spectacular.. when it's clean! But it's very hard to keep clean and shiny as it really shows the dirt and dust in contrast to the black color. So if you are the kind of person who lives in a nice area w/out a lot of dust or snow, and are able to keep it clean and bright.. Black is fantastic. On the other hand, if you don't have the time and energy to keep it clean on a regular basis.. I think you'll be much happier with the gray as it will look much nicer when it's got some dust and dirt on it.

just my $.02.

I completely agree with Eikon.

I really like the look of Black, but it doesn't look so great when dirty. A good friend of mine has a black Saturn Vue and she never washes it, so it always looks pretty bad. Before I bought my Rogue, I had a silver car. It was great as you couldn't really tell when it was dirty without be right next to it!

As Eikon said, I would choose the color based on the amount of effort you want to put in to keeping it clean. In making your decision, I would also suggest you make an effort to be aware of other gray and black cars on the road. I was actually convinced I wanted the Gotham Gray Rogue, but then I saw the Venom Red. Before I offically decided on this color though, I spent a lot of time at stop lights and as a passenger checking out the colors of cars and how I like them on new and older vehicles.

Best of luck!

So you do you like the venom red? I will be purchasing one in the near future. I really like the iridium graphite but my husband likes the red one.I wonder if you can get the red with the gray interior and would it look good.

hmmm, thats an interesting point. I live in a NY suburb and I dont have a covered garage..so I get the dust in summer and the snow in winter. I do "try" to take care of my car but I must admit I am not as anal as my husband that washes it every week or wipe away every dust as it lands. Sometimes a good rainfall is a wash for me:)

I always liked the black because it looks classy and stunning but I also hate to see people driving around with a lot of dirt on their car so maybe I should go for the gray thats not so revealing.

or maybe i should change my cleaning habits and go with the black...sigh, the saga continues

Answering for my wife (jlsatt00) -- she has the Venom Red with grey cloth, looks great.

I have seen the red and it does look nice. But I have always wanted a black car, but seeing that it may require extra cleaning..then i dunno

I wish someone who has a black Rogue can post some pics

To echo the rest of the board

In my opinion a black car with fresh wax/wash is about as good looking as it gets.

But for me personally, I don't have time to hand wash (want to avoid car washes w/ black too as it shows swrills fast) my truck every weekend. I ended up going w/ dark grey as it shows A LOT less dirt.

Yeah, black does require a lot of TLC, but what about the Indigo Blue...would that require as much attention (washing/waxing)?

I haven't seen a blue Rogue (other than Nissan photos), but I think it also looks sharp! Whatcha think?

The blue is a nice color too. My current car ( nissan sentra) is a smiliar shade of metalic blue..so I wanted something different.

If you go thru the topics, someone posted a pic of their indigo blue rogue..it looks good

mquebe-

I never thought I would want or own a red car, but after looking at lots of pictures and watching red vs gray suvs on the road, I decided I wanted the red. This shocked my husband as I originally said I wanted gray or silver. The paint is really a pretty color that most pictures don't really show. I also like the gray cloth interior. If I didn't have two dogs, I would have gone for the leather, but I do really like the cloth. The SL cloth is almost in between gray and a light tan.

I am doing a dealer trade and they have potentially found (the dealer that was called had already closed for the day, so waiting until tomorrow) a wicked black/black leather and gotham gray/gray leather - so right now I think I am leaning toward black on black (and keeping my fingers crossed that it is still on the lot). They are trading a blue/gray leather, which looks ok, but with all the UK madness around here I cant stand to see anything else in that color!!!

As far as interior goes, I wanted to go with leather for two reasons:One: I wear scrubs to work and the heated seats will sure feel good!!Two: My dog who sheds like crazy... I upgraded to leather furniture and her hair just falls right off. I just cleaned out my old car with cloth seats and her hair was impossible to get out! At least now she wont be on the seats... she'll be in the back!

So for me.... black just looks sharp and both colors of leather are nice, I think it all boils down to what suits your lifestyle best

A seller on Ebay was selling a black Rogue. The auction has ended but if you click on the link below then scroll down, you will be able to see a ton of pics on the black rogue

I cant post them here, but it has a zooming feature which allows you to see anywhere on the Rogue

What about the Indigo Blue one (or any blue car)...do the blue ones also need a lot of extra TLC like the black color (more than the gray or silver would)?

I currently have a blue car and it doesnt require any extra work. As a matter of fact, I usually end up washing it when I get oil changes:) Its pretty good at not showing dirt. But because I have a blue car now, I dont want a blue rogue

We have the wicked black rogue. It does indeed show hand prints, cat prints , and dirt and stuff. Go for the gray if you don't care to wash it that often. Just my opinion.
