I have a 1995 nissan 240sx se....My car has been leakin oil....probably slow leak...But when I check my oil level....its fine...it never goes down...I know I got a busted cv boots and steerin rack.Underneath my car is full of oil...Or so it seems...Where is the oil coming from?....

This is kind of a messed up thread to make. You should jack it up or put it on a lift and take the plastic 'skid' plate off and just look for wet areas/drips. Or, look where you park and see where the drips hit...that will at least give you a general idea where it's coming from.

Basically, just look everywhere or take it to a shop that will diagnose for free.

oh, and remember to keep checking all of your resevoir's: oil, brake, powersteering, transmission...

I think you anwsered yourself here, a slow leak isn't going to effect the dipstick very much and the plastic shroud is always covered in grease and sludge on older cars. Now chances are the leak is coming from either the front or rear seals.....or both so lose the shroud and put some cardboard under the car overnight like was suggested and find the source.

lol i dont think its oil personally it may something else ...has it been wet where your at lately? it could be water oil mix....however your motor would seize w/o oil and also take the skid plate off and leave it off for a day or 2 and pinpoint where its leaking from but normally dip stick shows oil loss...just my 2 cents
