I have an issue, my tt has like a false rev limiter, if I lightly push on the throttle the car will rise up to anywhere from 5k-6krpm but as soon as I go wide open throttle it boggs out and drops down to 3krpm with what sounds like a rev limiter noise, I have dual intake with 2 maf, I have upgraded ecu and chip for this with the silein* dual translator, and is tuned for 850cc injectors which I have installed. I pulled both mafs off and put them on my other Z one at a time as a test with no issues, can rev free all the way up to redline. Also if I just turn the key to the position before start I can not hear my fuel pump but the car starts just fine, I've read it could be bad CAS or a bad tps, clogged cat, vaccum leak I'm I the process of trying to narrow it down, I tried to swap cas but the one I know works has a different connector than the one that could possibly be bad. Also it has a rough idle, but will sometimes settle at around 2k if not it bounces between 1500 all the way down to a few hundred rpm, please any ideas or input would help, so I'm not just randomly replacing parts and hoping it fixes it

You can't hear your fuel pump? Better check your fuel pressure. Check if a fuse is blown. Go to a hardware store and buy a Tee-connector that fits your fuel line and a pressure gauge to connect to the t and check your fuel pressure.
I had the same symptoms on a previous z32 but unlike you the fuel pump was running but the fuel pressure regulator was faulty so I had no fuel pressure.

All Z32 CAS's are interchangeable with the same connector, if you have one with a different connector it's not for a Z32. RPM related issues usually are the maf or the tps, sounds like you ruled out the maf's but being that you are running dual your wiring or ecu could be suspect as well.

Actually the 95+ CAS connector is different, oval shaped and better seals, IIRC.

Murder Z32, sounds like a classic boost leak. Have you done a boost leak test?

Thanks all I figured it out, I was something to do with my selin* dual maf translator but now I've acquired a new issue

Was it on the wrong setting, ADD vs AVG?

Yea that's what it was, I feel pretty stupid now that I've figured it out, always the simple things
