So I brought my car to the dealer recently to get an oil change, and to find out why my car keeps making this "clinking" noise when I slow roll. Its like a metal on metal sound, and it only happens when I am below 20mph. I thought that there was something loose in that area but Nissan wont touch it because I have the eibach springs on there. I understand that they have to show that the springs directly caused whatever it is to malfunction, but they are gonna charge 500 to even take it apart (Im assuming the whole strut assembly) to even verify if its my fault or not. If I take the springs off all together and bring it to another dealer will they see it in their system that I had aftermarket springs on it? Maybe I need to replace my struts, since I am reaching 50K any minute now?

Another issue I have...I recently got stuck on the curb at mcdonalds and it tore my bumper off, breaking the piece where it was screwed in the wheel well. So now it hangs out on the side. Does anybody have any ideas to what I should do? Where to use some zip ties?

Check the cotter pin on the hub. Mine was loose after I took disassembled everything up there installing the Eibachs.

Sounds kind of silly but I'll bet you a box of donuts that if you take your wheel off that's what you'll find.

for bringing up the idea of using Zipties to fix your coupe...

Other then getting a new one...I don't know of a good way, but zipties are not the answer.

Probably wont be in the manual.

The only picture I can find quickly in a shot of Darryl's brakes. If you look in center you'll see a pin the holds the hub nut in place.

and a cotter pin...

Take it out and bend it back to make sure it fits on there snugly.

Go with the cotter key idea. Seen that more than a few times.
