help at 180km

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Hi to all,

I have a 93' 240sx SE coupe. The car will not go past 180km or 112mph! Do all 240sx are like that or is it governed? Does anybody know what the problem is or how to get rid of it. Its a 5-speed and it stops in 4th at 5800rpm's (redlines at 6900rpm). Please help, like to get rid of it if possible!

mine still has the govener, yet ive had the speedo pointing at the millage, i dont know how fas i was going but, still, seams like yours should go faster

s14 manuals are limited to 120mph. Autos have no limiter.
