But is there anyway I can get into my car without having to pay?

I know stupidity doesn't deserve a reward but i would really appriciate your guys help...

Do you have power locks? If so you can hanger it free with some skill.. or some patience. Go in above the handle, the mechnism you are looking for is maybe 2-3" toward the front of the car.. (hope you followed that description) And is right behind the handle. OR find a friend with AAA.

Well... either:

Slide a coat hanger inside the car around the window and fish it down towards the lock right above the door handle. Then hook it in front of the lock and pull back.

or:

Slide the coathanger (with a hook) between the door panel and window glass. Slide it down just under where the outside door handle is. You will come across a plate that you need to hook and push down. It isn't easy on a 240 and it will take a long time to get it right... but keep a hand on the door handle, when you hit that plate you will feel the door handle twitch slightly. Good luck!

i have a slim jim that makes getting the doork unlocked pretty easy..however i did it with a coathanger..it's a fun job once you get it...but pisses you off when you get so close a million times...just get someone to hold the window open just enough with a screwdriver and find a thick coat hanger and bend it as nessecary..good luck...locked cars with no keys are always fun :)

it's quite aggrevating to watch someone take 20 seconds to professionally open it and then charge u $40 for a single moment of stupidity. don't damage ur car doing it though...i tried once and i quite because was about to scratch paint/window pretty bad.

ain't the 240s are really easy to slip a hanger thru the window because we have frameless windows and the window doesn't even seal tight against the rubber on door.

240s are very easy to break into. get a girl with tiny arms to just put her arm into the window and unlock it!! you can get the window far enough from the car

Well obviously this won't help you now...but everyone should keep an extra key in your wallet. But i've lost that one too...So if you look in your glove box, there is a sticker that says a few things one is the key code. Write it down and keep that in your wallet. If you can get a ride to your nissan dealership, they can make you a new key.

just don't do it in an empty parking lot or the local cops come and harass the hell out of you.
