Hello All First off my names Robert Im from NC and I have a 1989 300zx N/a VG30 Im fairly new to imports. For my first post I had and Interesting Question, what all do you need to do to hook up MSD to my stuff?? I know it can be done put what goes where?? If you have any link they would be gladly aperciated

welcome to Nico, the VG30E was blessed with great ignition from the factory, don't expect any improvement in power or milage

as for hook up, if you must add the msd box, I know you can use a pullup resistor and wire it into the 60 degree output from the distributor but I'm pretty sure one of the pairs of input wires on the msd box are compatible with the stock trigger this should be covered in the msd instructions

thanks now one more my oil perssure gauge always read 30lbs is that right or maybe a lose connection??

always? even at high engine speeds? it should read zero when disconnected, the sensor is on the passanger side next to the oil filter

I also find it interesting that you filled out your profile more completely here than on 3zc when this site doesn't even require you to. Funny how the city now is China Grove (which more closely matches your IP), and not the non-existent Queen City.
