heater vents not working

I just got my 1990 240sx last friday, and I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with their heater vents not working, my defrost works, but my heater vents are not working, if someone could help me out with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

I have had the same problem...I have no idea how to fix it. I took out the control head and played around with the wires with no luck. I don't understand what the problem is. If anybody has fixed this problem before, please share it with us. Thank You!!

the vents? you mean they're not pushing air when you turn on the fan for the ventilation system or they're not rotating around when you push them around? It could be that the motor for the heater core is broken, you've got a blockage somewhere in your tubes (although that'd be pretty hard, even a mouse really shouldn't be able to clog it up), or you've got a temp control unit that's gone to a better place.
