so i changed my heater core out today. took me 9 hours to do. got everything hooked up, lines and all, and started her up. waited til she was warm and tried to turn the heater on. nothing. my climate control isn't funtioning at all. it did work before, just no heat out of it.

i called it quits for the night. but ill check for a fuse tomorrow, maybe it blew out? only thing else i can figure is that i left a clip unglugged somewhere, but i made sure they were all good before putting the dash back on. if anyone could help, it would be great.

You may have an air lock in the heater core. Did you have it set to maximum when you ran the engine up ?

actually i got it. im takin the blame tho. one of the 4 connections to the climate control computer wasn't pushed completely in. either my friend or me, but im takin the blame so i dont care lol. it works fine now tho. took like an hour and a half, or longer, to tear it all down and put back together again. thanks for the reply tho pete.

it only would have been about 9-10 hours total if that was plugged in. would have been less time if we didn't try to get all the clips off around the a/c housing, and just disconnected the lines n the first place. we never pulled the a/c lines thru the firewall gromets, just maneuvered it out of the way.

Did you have to remove the seat/s to make room to get at the heater core ?
