Whats up NICO's.

So the entire day I was trying to install my HID's and I was confused as I had to connect the harness from the headlight to 2 prones from the kit. (1) red and (1) black.

So my question is, which colors on the harness corresponds to what? ie; red-power blk-ground blue-high beam?

I assumed red was the main power and black was the ground and I matched it up with the HID kit, yet it didn't work

Did you get a kit made specifically for H13 bulb?

^ Yeah. H13/9008 bulbs.

The kit worked when I powered it through the battery, but not from the harness of the headlight. I'm just confused as if to which colors corresponds to what.

I need a wiring diagram on that. Anybody have anything handy?

What's funny is that this is the SAME EXACT file my friend showed me. And I bought them from DDM too! No help though because I didn't get the hi/low converter.

Here's what confuses me. The entire time last night, me and my boy had a hard time connecting the HID's to the harness because the prones didn't fit. So we ended up cutting the harness off, and wiring the 2 up directly (red to red, black to black. seems about right, right?).

Still nothing when I turn on my headlights.

We later figured it out, is that we automatically assumed Red was power, Black was ground, and Blue was for high beam. Only because my HID's ended up working when I turned on the high-beam switch. Which would mean, Red or Black had to be high-beams.

Here's the problem now. I tried switching everything up. Connecting red to black, or red to blue, or black to blue. But the HID's never corresponded whenever I turned on the headlight switch.

As of now, I just connected them Red to Red and Black to Black. In order to use my HID's, the high beam switch just has to be on.

I think what you have to do is connect the high and low beams wires from factory harness together and then you connect that to the red wire of the HID kit.

THat's what I did for the driver side. it was a pain in the a** though. the thing was, I just ended up cutting the entire harness. it still didnt work when i tried turning on the low beams.

You'll have to figure out which one is the low beam wire and try to power the ballast with it. Disconnect all the wires and then use a multimeter, turn on your low beam and see which one of the wires has power. Do the same for the high beam and you' should be able to figure out the correct hookup.

Yeah, but I was hoping someone here would've known already tho, which why I went here first. I don't have a multimeter as well so that's a problem haha.
