headlight tint using window tint?

has anyone tried using window tint for their headlights? i dont have much experience with tinting so i don't know if it's the same or not. wal-mart has the tint on sale for 5 bux thats y i'm asking
also, what is everyones opinion on spray tint vs the film tint? which is better?

I myself just used to spray tint on my headlights and reverse lights and i love the outcome. I've never worked with the film tint before though

I have used both and I didn't really liked how the spray tint turned out so I prefer the film tint. If you don't like it you can take the film of too.

i imagine both would be the same amount of difficulty, because film tint is obviously harder to put on, but with spray paint you have to do all that sanding.. i'll probably stick with film tint since i hear its better quality plus i can redo it if i mess up, and correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm not 100% sure. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use window tint, it does seem like the same thing as the overlays.

I think overlays might be a little softer then window tint and easier to melt into shape, but window tint work fine.
