Hello all! I have been lurking here since I adopted my baby, '04 G35x, three weeks ago. I love everything about this car, especially since my last ride was a 2002 F250 crew cab. I also look forward to reading the new posts on here. This seems to be a very cordial and respectful group.

Anyway, I love everything about this car except that the headlight covers have condensation in them. Are there any hints on removing the covers to clean and treat them so that this does not happen again? I have searched previous topics and have found nothing on this.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Rich

Thank you for the reply. The G is under the balance of its factory warranty and an after-market warranty. Are you suggesting that I let the pros take care of it? I am all for that proposition if it's covered.

Thank you.

Geez...so ya been lurking for 3 weeks

and finally decided to post!! What took ya so long??

Welcome to NICO!!

I have read about this problem on here so I know it has been addressed. I will see if I can find it for you. But, if your car is under warranty...definitely let them fix it...it's part of what you paid all that $$$ for!

I'm socially inept so I try to stay in the shadows.

Thank you. First, I'm going to take the path of least work and go to the dealer. If they give me a no-go, then I'll try your solution.

hahah the wax would be sooo much easier than driving over there, you wipe some wax on, wait 2 minutes and wipe it off and the haze is gone. it would take 8 minutes MAX

Oh no. I haven't hand waxed a vehicle in years. I have to go to the store and buy the stuff first. Then I have to stretch out my elbow muscles for the arduous task of wax on, wax off. Your point is well taken and shall be heeded.
