headers install, ran into problem???

only thing that stands in the way of my new headers going in is the steering coming down from the firewall right next to the motor mount kinda. how do i take this off so i can put my new headers in. 90 s13 w/95 ka24de

Shouldn't have to remove it. I squeezed mine by there. If you have stock motor mounts, use a strap or something to slightly pull the motor towards the passenger side.
