Quick and dirty... Step 1. Remove disconnect batt (should be a quick no brainer there), Drain fluids.

Step 2. Remove spark plug wires, just get them out of the way, pull the cap and take the wires with them.

Step 3. Remove intake, take off fuel rail and set it to the side. If there is a mechanical fuel pump, take that off at this time.

Step 4. Remove exhaust, set it to the side, use a piece of rope or whatever to tie it up.

Step 5. Take off the valve cover.

Step 6. Ram the timing wedge down on the timing chain. Once you've done this, remove the big 22mm? Bolt from the top of the cam and take off the cam gear.

Step 7. Remove the 14 10mm allen head bolts and the Two 10mm bolts at the front of the timing cover. Don't forget those.

Step 8. Yank.

Repeat these steps in reverse for replacement procedure.

are you talking about the lower crank pulley? dont know what size bolt but if its stuck you may need to get a puller. there was a thread on here not long ago about this topic. hope this helps.

The crank pulley *should* be a 27 mm IIRC. Could be a 28 but i'm about 95% sure it's a 27.

If it's the ginormous 3 pulley monstrosity of a damper, just beat it off (and by beat if off i mean use a puller, not a BFH) , chuck it, and throw an L24 on there.

Sears should sell some tools that look like sockets. Or... Cut your broken allen wrenches down and shove them in the appropriate sized socket and do it that way.
