Head lights

Ok can someone help me please.. I have a 1987 300z when I turn on the head lights the left one will be on while its set to dim and the right one will will be off and then while set to bright the right one will be on and the left one will be off... so I replaced the head lights and still same thing ..then swapped the light bulbs still same thing.. Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this or what is causing it

check all your fuses.

check the voltage at the hedlight and the resistance to gorund, might be a grounding issue

headlight switch. clean or replace.
