I'm rebuilding my engine and am reassembling it as we speak. The heads are off a bad block and are going on a freshly bored block. Unfortunately, my good block only has one head alignment dowel on each bank. And the other two are stuck in the bad block and I can't get them out. It appears that Nissan has discontinued the part. Any ideas on what I can do to pull the other two dowels out of the block or where I can get some new ones?

Try to rent a alignment pin remover, looks like a slide hammer that has various sized attachments to grab the pin. If not maybe drill and tap a small screw into the pin end.

Take one of the pins to your local machine shop, they will likely be able to find a mach, worst case they turn some other pin to fit.
