My steering wheel on my '07 V vibrates at 60mph. I've taken it to the local Nissan dealership twice now. They have also balanced my tires twice. They now suggest that the car should have a road force balance done on it. The dealership does not have this machine so it will have to be done elsewhere at their cost. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with this. Thanks!

Not to scare you or anything just offering another possibility: I remember my high school shop teacher said if the feels like the steering bounces up and down its the balance on the wheels. If it feels side to side then its (I think, its been a while) the tie rods (or smth else rod.)

Another observation I have over the years... steel wheels always vibrate over 100kph... or 60mph. It happens with my winters, my friend's Camry, my old mazda 6's winters, and the sienna from work.

Also, just check if there are huge clumps of dirt/snow stuck to the wheel. Even a small chunk can make the wheel go out of balance.

Good luck with this.

Maybe you have "mud is yer tires". (a quote from My Cousin Vinny).
