I tried that ammo in my buddy's raging judge. Quite a kick, even in .410.

Other than the trigger spring, I've had no problems so I wouldn't know what fails on them. It's built big and loose like an old musclecar. Next to my ARs it's so friggin simple. If I had the coin I would have gone out and picked up an AK after realizing how rugged and simple they are built.

Biggest thong is using good ammo on them. They're not as finicky due to being a piston gun but light loads are harder to cycle. There's more than one good reliability check list for them. Me personally, I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay what they ask for them now. Same with ak's.

SKS's are also experiencing a STEEP price increase. Its ridiculous.
If i wanted to purchase another Id go with a SKS.
I snagged my Norinco AK for a sweet 600. All matching SNs. This one cycles anything.
My previous lolwasr-10 jammed every few rounds.
It was a "pre ban" without the chopped mag well.

I had a nice, Romanian? milled receiver AK in my paws with nice wood furniture. I could have got it, but I was a week away from heading back to Japan and had already dropped much more money on guns than I had budgeted for. i reluctantly handed it back to shop owner. :frown:

The walk of shame when you have to hand back a firearm to the salesman.
Always breaks my heart.
Let a Sig p220SPORT go. Regret it ever since.
Lol came back 2 days later and it was gone.

i hate that h0m0. he's not even russian. his accent is fake, and way off- trust me i know. my father & mother still till this day sport the russian "akt-cent"<--(use your best russian impersonation) lol

case in point: he says "round". russians dont have an American sounding "R" we have an R thats rolled, like the way spanish people say Raul.

I'll take your word on it. I guess it was all his YouTube hits that got him a "Cameo" on that black ops 2 commercial? Did you see it?

That gun is nice, but the cyclic rate is about the same as my Saiga when I work the trigger at high speed. Not me, but about what I can do.

Probably to the right thread but can you guys offer up some thoughts on purchasing a used gun?

From what I read, it's along the same lines as purchasing a used car, all depends on the previous owner.

just bought a used glock. same warranty as a new one. so why not.

Glocks warranty is lifetime. If they can't fix it... they will just send you a new gun. 100% lifetime warranty on any non-modified part.

like a used car, certain models have certain things to look for. And then there's just flat out owner abuse...

Picked up my SR556e today, plenty to order for it and finding cheap ammo. Then to pay it off of the credit card.

Nice rifle. Lucky you got a mag with it because pickins will be slim for a very loooooong time.

The store had pmags held for those who buy guns from them. So they sold me an extra mag and some ammo at normal price.

Get your 10 round AR magazines here. ;)

I know it's complete overkill, but just imagine! AA is just up the road from me, I keep meaning to make a road trip there one of these days. And as much as I enjoy distance shooting a 6.5 isn't completely out of the question...and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than 300 Win Mag.

Anyone happen to come across Ruger mags? I'm looking for extras or my SR40 (15rd) and Mark II (10rd). Only luck so far is ebay and gunbroker, both are way too high currently.

The ranges are apparently just as packed as the gun shows/shops. I'm waiting on my scope mount and a couple other things for the AR then need to sight it in and shoot it, but all the ranges are packed. And only one locally allows rifles at an indoor range.

They better GTFO of the range and open up a lane. I only get a chance to let fly every year or two.

Additions to the "evil black rifle" this weekend. Waiting on rail from Ruger to add the UTG front grip. But put on Hogue pistol grip, used Magpul BUS, and Nikon scope. Still have yet to shoot it though.

Wasn't planning on it today. But picked up a short barrel 12ga. Had been looking at these and found one for good price.
