I'll start

I got a family full time job and don't play live anymore in clubs (plus I got robbed of quite a bit when I was at college) but here is what I've got for gear now

Washburn Dimebolt 333 with upgraded DimebuckerWashburn Camo "Dean ML" Washburn Lyon Strat

effects: MXR Eddie Van Halen Phase 90Dime MXR distortionDOD Death MetalDigitech RP 300aZakk Wylde ODCrybaby from Hell (Dimebag style)Scott Ian Black 13 Just got a Pocket POD last week, LOVE it!

Playing currently through a Marshall microstack.

My 9 year old is rocking the balance of my effects which include

Digitech RP7Digitech RP50DOD GrungeBOSS Metal ZoneOriginal Crybaby

He took my Dean Stack in a Box headphone amp after I got the POD.

He's playing through a Fender Frontman small amp.

His guitars include the Dean from Hell/Baby ML, and a Fender/Squire strat.

what do you guys have?

I'm really not that good, I just think guitars look cool on my wall instead of pictures.

I've been playing around with open-G tuning and a slide on the Delta King, mostly metal/rock on the ESP, and I can pick some bluegrass and chill stuff on the acoustic.

I'd like to learn how to record without spending a lot of money, but I can't sing so that sucks.
You should post up a video of yourself shredding in the Git. Vids. thread

me, ive got a fairly simple rig, but it cuts through any tone like a razor. Its probably one of the simplest but most amazing rigs ive ever owned.

Consists of a Peavey 5150II (given to me by my buddy mike from Full Blown Chaos) Marshall 1960A cabinet, ISP Decimator Noise Reduction pedal and a BBE Sonic Stomp Maximizer. I play through a pair of EMG 81 Equipped Customized LTD Guitars

Heres some photos.

How much of a difference does the BBE maximizer make? I haven't gotten to play with one in a shop yet and Im against buying without playing these days.

it CAN make a huge difference. I only use mine really to boost the sound of my highs sonicly. It helps me really cut through anything else around me. I use a little low boost too but i do use mids on the amp so it kinda acts as a complete channel boost i guess. I love it. I wouldnt ever play withyout it now

I've played with them before, and they're alot of fun, plus they make your tone stand out a lot more, I enjoy it.

Here's mine. I got amp and effects when I was in school and haven't updated them for years. I'd love to try different setup and move on. My effects and amp combo sound so cheap. I love my guitar and limited edition Crybaby to death though. It's 67' re-issue.

Ok...so I finally broke down and took the pics I promised a while back.

Here's the rundown on the Tele. (This was given to me by a friend last summer for free. Don't think he knew he had a limited edition guitar.)

Fender Telecaster Blackout HH.This model was produced from Jan/04 to July/05.Mine was produced Jan/04, number 0570.

Seymour Duncan humbuckers X23 position switchOversized strap knobsKnurled volume and tone control knobsFlat black tuning keys and bridge plateNeck through bodyNo inlays on the fretboard

The other one is a Japanese Les Paul knock-off. Nothing special, but the action is very low to the neck, so I play it once in a while. Needs some new strings on it though, and also needs all the electrical stuff redone. (Wiring, new volume and tone knobs and selector switch) But, I have no idea how to do any of that, and I can't afford to have someone do it for me at the moment. Besides, this guitar was given to me free of charge as well, what can I say.

My amp is a Fender Champion 110. It's actually on loan from a friend, as he doesn't use it anymore. Nice little amp. I'd like to be able to crank it up and see how it sounds. Don't have any effects pedals yet. Prolly just gonna get a distortion switch and maybe a chorus or reverb pedal as well.

Epiphone Les Paul Cusom Classic with Lace Alumitone PickupsIbanez Iceman (old style) with EMG 81/85 PickupsUnknown (beautiful) classical from mid 60'sPOS Squire 3/4 acousticPeavey Millenium 5-Str Bass

Guitars get fed. into a Digitech Death Metal distortion box, theninto the clean channel of my Fender Hotrod Deville 212. Gotta love tubes. The bass however, runs directly into a Fender Rumble 100.

Not that it ever gets used anymore but. We have what weve dubbed the "Shockmater 9000" An old solid state Marlboro PA.Totaly un-grounded. If your playing and touch the strings and ground yourself (via other bandmates, drum cymbols, aything metal) you get a hefty jolt. thing doesnt sound bad though if you have the balls to plug it in.

Ive been playing guitar and drums for about seven years now (i think?)and bass about a month (even though ive had the bass rig for years lol)

Dean 4 string with active pickups..

that goes into a Russian Big Muff Pi

and then into my Crate BT220, 220watt 1X15 combo.

The effects loop contains a Digitech BP8 multi effects and a Digitech multi Chorus pedal.

I also have a couple of cheapy strats in peices as I work on them. I also have a short scale 4 string bass I am working on to. A Martin acoustic dreadnought I use mainly for song writing. And a 25 watt Fender practice amp, that I play a Les Paul Jr. through for fun once in a while. Mainly for songwriting also.

I am a drummer originally, who can pick around on guitar a little bit, but now I picked up bass and am Loving it! It's the best of both worlds.

lol, how am I the only Fender guy...

My fave is the Jaguar, I ****ing love that thing. CIJ, modded with AV trem and SD pups... Built the Mustang one a few years back... Mostly 66 parts (neck, body, trem, I have a stock guard)... It's cool, but I like Jags better :P

Bridge cover for show, lol.

...My latest little project. 350Z orange It'll be dull til I do the final wet sand/polish it out.

Old pic, but all of em together:

Also, my 100 watt 70s solid state Fender thing... A bit transparent at the moment, needs speakers (would plug it into my singer's Mesa cab).
