I used mine to refinish the underside of our fiberglass hard tonneau cover.

Easy to use, and after it cured for 24 hours, I completed it with a topcoat of spray-on bedliner for additional sealing and texture.

Awesome product!

Would you happen to have any pictures of the install?

I would love to get a sample to try out on my 86 300z if it is still available! If it works good on it I would probably be interested in some for my 97 240!

I did, but unfortunately with the AZ sun glaring on it, it looked like a big grey rectangle. :)

It's since been over-coated with bedliner material, so it's a big black rectangle now. It did a great job though - You'd be amazed how much noise WAS generated through the truck bed. It's dead-silent now!

I'll be doing the entire cab of a '77 620 pickup here pretty soon with the GTmat, I'll post pics of that for sure.

If you guys haven't ordered a roll of GTmat, get crackin' - one of the best mods you can do for your interior!

I got my sample in! That is a big section of mat for a sample :) I am going to throw some of this in the hatch area of my z. and the floor area in my 240 where both the downpipes are really close. We will see how if this stuff helps block heat at all. The shipping was super fast and the customer service was even better. I have a feeling I will be picking up a roll of this soon! :bowrofl:

Hey, GTmat - How about educating the members here on constrained-layer damping and how to best reduce vibration / noise in large panels using smaller amounts of damping material?

I'm wondering why everyone on this forum hasn't bought a roll for their projects...

Considering the difference it makes in ALL car audio installs, it's cheaper than buying a bigger amp.

Considering the reduction in exhaust noise, it;s cheaper than buying a different exhaust system.

And considering how SOLID it makes your car feel, it's cheaper than new weatherstrip!

Thought I'd share some pictures of the GTM Supercar that we sponsored with Liqui-Damp. If we decide to have a booth at SEMA, this may be one of our display cars.

NICE!

By the way, I just started working on our newest project, using the 70-mil GT Onyx... It's my new favorite sound deadening product!
